Transfer subscription to a new email

Move an active subscription to a different email address by contacting support.

If you need to transfer a paid BackgroundErase subscription to a different email address, our support team can help. We’ll first confirm ownership of the account, then transfer the subscription over to the new email.

Note: Subscription transfers are handled by support to keep your account secure and prevent unauthorized changes.


How to request a transfer

  1. Go to backgrounderase.com/help/contact .
  2. In the dropdown, select Transfer subscription to a new email.
  3. Submit the form with:
    • Your current account email
    • The new email you want to transfer to
  4. We’ll confirm ownership of the account by verifying billing details or sending a confirmation email.
  5. After confirmation, we’ll transfer the subscription to the new email and let you know when it’s complete.
