Quick summary: Starter does not include API access. Business and Enterprise do.

Business API pricing
The Business plan is a straightforward option for production. It includes API access with a base subscription plus usage-based pricing.
Business pricing: $20/month + $0.01 per image.
This tier is best if you want a predictable monthly base cost and simple usage billing while you build and ship.
Enterprise API pricing
The Enterprise plan is fully customizable for large-scale workflows, procurement requirements, or teams that need features like on-device licensing and SLAs.
Enterprise pricing: Custom contract terms with per-image pricing that can be negotiated down to $0.0025 per image.
Enterprise is best if you need volume discounts, custom limits, billing terms, or security/compliance features.

- Create an account (or sign in) and go to backgrounderase.com/pricing.
- Select Business (or contact us for Enterprise).
- After purchase, go to your account page and generate an API key.
- Use the key in your first API request.
