Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan

Learn how to switch plans from the pricing page and how to cancel from your account settings.

You can change your BackgroundErase plan at any time. Upgrading and downgrading are handled from the pricing page, and canceling is handled from your account’s Subscription & Billing section.

Quick summary: Upgrade or downgrade from /pricing. Switching plans automatically cancels your previous plan. To cancel entirely, go to /account and click Cancel subscription.


Upgrade your plan

Upgrading is as simple as selecting a new plan on the pricing page. When you purchase the new plan, your previous subscription is automatically canceled.

  1. Go to /pricing .
  2. Click the plan you’d like to upgrade to.
  3. Complete checkout.
  4. Your previous plan is automatically canceled and replaced by the new one.

Downgrade your plan

Downgrading works the same way as upgrading: choose the plan you want from the pricing page and complete checkout. This automatically cancels the previous subscription.

  1. Go to /pricing .
  2. Click the plan you’d like to downgrade to.
  3. Complete checkout.
  4. Your previous plan is automatically canceled and replaced by the new one.

Cancel your subscription

If you want to stop billing entirely (instead of switching plans), cancel from your account page. You’ll find the cancel button in the Subscription & Billing section.

  1. Go to /account .
  2. Scroll to Subscription & Billing.
  3. Click Cancel subscription.
  4. Confirm the cancellation.

Tip: If you’re switching plans, you don’t need to cancel manually. Selecting a new plan on /pricing cancels the previous one automatically.
